We had a great stay in Kokrobite. Great place, great surf, amazing people, fantastic food and hospitality. We were two guys from Sweden, with only snowboarding experience, that wanted to learn how to surf. Brett and Ben were the best instructors and Mr Brights Surf School offered fantastic service to great price. We highly recommend a visit here and will surely come back. See more..

This place is a wonderful stop for local art! We had the whole place to ourselves to roam freely without hassle! There’s great art on each floor but the best floors are the second and third, if you’re on a budget and want some affordable wall paintings. The first floor had mostly wood art and large, more expensive abstract paintings. All still beautiful for sure. At this Gallery, you get away from what I call ‘tourist art’. Highly recommend this birding tour. We wanted to go to Ghana to see and discover the astonishing local wildlife. We did a birding tour of 14 days with Kwame and Nuru as guides. We were impressed by their skills and accuracy in the identification of the different bird species. The guides treated us very well and adapted the trip to any of our needs. During the tour, we were able to see 313 bird species including some of the African endemics as well as a wide variety of mammals, reptiles, and insects. Besides the tour being highly focused on bird watching, we learned many things from Ghana being able to learn how they live, the local dishes, and fruits. I’m so glad I visited Osu Castle. The guide was brilliant and gave such an impactful, informative tour of the castle spanning so much history. You can see the awful history of the trade of enslaved people as well as recent history such as where modern presidents of Ghana lived and worked. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave poignant descriptions of all the places we saw. If you go just make sure to walk past the government building still in use to get to the castle. Everyone was helpful in pointing me in the right direction but it was confusing and a little intimidating to walk up to a big closed gate with guards. I’m giving 4 stars because it was kind of hard to leave if you don’t have a car with no taxi rank or Uber drivers wanting to come that far. Took me about 45 minutes and walking further up to main roads before I could get an Uber back to the city centre. See more..
