   When I first got in touch, I was so deeply closed within myself, that I felt like everyone around was an enemy, I was lost. After, my life has completely changed.I realised and felt who I am, that I have heart, soul, that I am alive and the world around me is beautiful and in harmony. When I received my first knowledge I couldn’t comprehend this puzzle and didn’t first understand what happened. But when I started to see how my life was beginning to transform I started to trust, surrender and allowed myself to go on! When I met Ruyman again I felt myself comfortable in my skin surrounded by family. It is an unbelievable feeling. I’m happy that I came here and began the process of healing and spirit transformation. The dates, the people who I meet there are all at the right place, right time. For me it was important to surrender to the process, also concentrate, and follow Ruyman. His songs, his melodies, words. He is the best shaman, safe and well trusted, who keeps his tradition. He treats everyone with care and love. The people who help him are ones with big hearts who look after the space, help with any questions (from the most simple ones to the ones that might appear during the work). Ruyman’s love reaches everyone, in his mysterious way he leads everybody to his own answer. I am grateful, I found myself, my wholeness, life and I returned on my path!    A beautiful botanical garden with fruit to eat straight from the trees. A wonderful host who takes the time to show you around. Animals all over. A picnic site and a huge swing from which you get a spectacular view on Sucua. A wonderful discovery and probably one of our best memories of Ecuador. See more..

   Macas is a small city of the Ecuadorian Amazon, full of foreigners; it has as tourist attractions their reserves, where there are a great variety of animals, some in danger of extinction. Some of their typical dishes are the meat brochette with yucca, it grows in great quantity in the east so enough dishes contain this food, you can find that in the center of the city where is located the central park and the cathedral "La Purisima de Macas ", you will also find the delicious “ceviches de chocho” and “prensados.” Macas has a very wet and changing weather; it is possible that more than once in a day, rain, during the course of your stay in this city. Across the city passes the Upano River, has an extensive beach where you can rest there or even practice certain sports. See more..

   We have decided to walk to this place. Walk was actually amazing. We were surrounded by beautiful nature. After two and half hour walk we came to small creek in the end of which was supposed to be waterfall. Trail to waterfall is terrible. Nobody takes any care about this place. As we were approaching the fall four indigenous people catched with us. The were quite aggressive. None of them spoke any English. Finally we understood that they wanted money.... $10 dollars. It is outrageous! Ten dollars for what? It is very tiny waterfall, trail is terrible. We decided to leave because the had machetes and woman had a spear. I was definitely the worst experience we had during our 3 month-long trip to Ecuador See more..

   Not a lot to say about this park. There aren't playground things for kids to do. What there is are a lot of benches to sit on. It is a great place to just sit and rest, visit with friends, watch humanity pass by, or just chill. I was there a few days before Christmas so there was a huge Christmas tree and it looked like everything was wired with lights, including the trees. As I wan't there at night I can't say. There were other Christmas related objects that made it special for photos, especially with kids, but normally I've just found it a nice place to sit and rest, eat a lunch or visit with friends.     I actually thought this was part of the Catedral de la Purisima de Macas. It includes all the many steps leading up to the cathedral. Before the steps and in various places going up the steps there are displays and other constructions that would be of interest to Catholics. As I was there a few days before Christmas, there was huge nativity scene st up there that was kind of cool. Not a lot to see, but if you are interested in seeing the Cathedral, walk through this park and up the steps instead of taking a taxi to the front doors. See more..
