   This is a AAAA national tourist site that receives little publicity. The ferry and entry fee to the island are 60rmb. The ferry is mostly standing only but it is a two minute trip. There is a temple, a pagoda, a hill climb, rock gardens, an old fort, a forest of stelae and numerous other nooks and crannies to explore on the island. Take a picnic basket and this makes a great day trip. Don't forget the mosquito repellent. The view on one side of the island is slightly marred by a power station across the river but otherwise there is plenty of nature to enjoy. See more..

   This temple and the gardens around together with the water areas are an excellent scenario to spend at least half a day... The place was really excellent, the temple and the pagoda were marvellous, the views there are quite nice and it's also a calm place for a rest...    This year,the most impressive trip for me,is the school trip in November 2018.I went there with my classmates and a math teacher ,Mr. long.First,we went to Nanjing.When we arrived in Nanjing,it was already afternoon,so we didn't have the special foods there,which made me feel a little regretful.We visited a lot of scenic spots and historical sites in Nanjing.They all shocked me very much.Nanjing's hotel was very comfortable and beautiful,we all slept well in these days.Then we went to Zhenjiang,we took a lot of photos there.As you can see,these three photos were taken from Beigu Mountain in Zhenjiang.We learned many interesting history form there,I really enjoyed it.The reason why this trip is unforgettable,is that I have many great memories,and I spent a wonderful time with them.    Transportation is convenient. You can even take a bus from Yangzhou downtown to the park, or take a bus to Yangzhou from there. I went there on a rainy day with parents, there were not many people and the air is moist. Didnt see a lot view due to the weather however the artillery historical location is impressive. Also although the mountain is not very high, it's nice to climb to the top and see the whole city unless of course in a rainy day. See more..

    The newly built museum is located on the site of the former British Consulate. Zhenjiang became a Treaty Port as of April 1861. Some of the buildings of the consulate are still under renovation and make a very homogeneous architectural complex, along with the new museum, all decorated with red and black bricks. The museum houses interesting collections of bronze wares, porcelain or painting. Nice view on Zhenjiang from the gardens. Close to the museum, the site of the old embankment at the time the Yangtze River had not moved its bed to the south. In particular, do not miss the old street that start from the right of the museum and the strange stone pagoda dating from the Yuan dynasty, hanging above the street. If you like walking, on the street that leaves from the left side of the museum, you will see some old buildings such as the Guild of merchants from Canton or the former Chamber of Commerce.     It was interesting to visit the former residence of Pearl Buck during her years in Zhenjiang. The home has charm. Exhibits were able to be seen as you could walk into rooms. We arrived as it closed for lunch (12 to 1:30) so we had lunch nearby and returned. The home is set in the lovely grounds of the park with the museum next door.     在镇江上了4年学，去了一些地方，经常和学校的领导一起去南山、金山、焦山之类的地方，所以我觉得梦溪园还是独辟蹊径的，安静的地方，园子不大，就在江苏大学梦溪校区边，从我们主校区去还需要一点时间。花儿很好，春天很美，去过一次印象很深，沈括的故居，倒也没什么特别的，只是在镇江这个城市市区的一点安静的地方，觉得很难能可贵的去处。如果有时间经过镇江可以去走走，早饭之后去走走，闻闻花香。 See more..

    九里和季子庙是在一起的，说实话，地方环境给人比较破旧的感觉，但是我是奔着“沸井”去得，去得时候只有6口井，在那里管理的人说原来有7口的，后来填掉了，6口井旁边就是个池塘，风平浪静的那种，可是6口井里确实在冒气泡的，叫做“沸井”，说有缘还能看到龙须（可惜我无缘啊），井里的谁味道是不一样，买了2种的水，一种像是没甜味喂的雪碧，还有有点点像是啤酒，挺奇特的。 See more..

    I entered this park from the top of Yuntai Hill after visiting Yuntai Pavilion which I reached from the Xijin Ferry. There were many paths and areas to explore and all were beautiful and interesting. I walked to the bottom and main entrance and was enthralled by the section near the bottom of craggy rock that surrounded a pond where fish and turtles could be seen. There were paths winding in and out, up and down around the pond. I'll return before leaving Zhenjiang. See more..

    Wanda Plaza is a large shopping mall near the center of town. Located across the street from the railway station, it is an easy location to get to and from. Taxis are readily available and there are plenty of restaurants in and outside of the mall. The third floor of the mall is almost entirely restaurants with a wide variety to choose from. There's an IMAX theater on the fourth floor. Across the street in several directions are more shopping malls. Outside the mall are two restaurant streets. One of them features a small game and tea shop called Nim-Tea. They have very good drinks for as low as five RMB. They offer tables, card and board games for 15 RMB per person. However, if you get the table for 15 R&B, you get unlimited free drinks and snacks. This is a great place to hang out and rest after a day visiting the mountains and temples. See more..

    Once you have visited the Jinshan Park and you have seen its attractions, it will be great to climb up the stairs and reach the Cinshou Tower in order to have a good view of the Park and Yangtze River. The tower itself was found closed but you can walk behind the tower and reach a lookout spot (almost same height with the last floors of the tower) in order to see the view having the tower on your right. The path to reach the spot starts on your left just before the last steps prior reaching the tower yard's gate. See more..

    Nice place to stroll around. Very few people and plenty of shade to hide under in the hot summer sun. Used to be part of the Yangtze river but ever since it changed course the springs is now separate from the river. Small pond with bubbling spring water, but we didn't get the chance to actually taste it. Accessible via ferry or by walking from Jinshan Hill park. See more..
