   From agricultural point of view, this park has the same concept of the Thousands Raised Field Scenic Park. However, instead of growing the oil flowers, the locals planted metasequoia some 30 years ago. Nowadays, it becomes a paradise for egrets. Wild flowers blossom in spring as well. They have plenty of great tracks for trekking and bird watching. It is also less crowded and more peaceful. The air is very fresh here. The best way to get there is driving your own car with Chinese friends. Highly recommended over the Thousands Raised Field Scenic Park. See more..

   Taizhou is a 2500 yr old city with an interesting history. The museum is new and modern. Give yourself 1.5 to 2 hours. There is no entrance fee. Open Tues through Sunday. I really enjoyed it. See more..
