   Mixc is a great modern shopping mall which is well designed. It is just like other big shopping centers in the world and many famous international, chinese and japanese brands could be found there, e.g. Addidas, Nike, Calvin Klein, etc. There is also food court on top floors and branches of KFC, Burger King and some Japanese Restaurant s are there. There are also some activity facilities like skating field, basketball yard and some more games inside. Outside area of this shopping mall was very good decorated with colorful lightings. At toppest floor there is a Cinema. But all movies were in Chinese language! I recommend this shopping center for spending 2-3 hours of your stay and having a good meal there. See more..

   Abacus museum is a small two storeyed place. However, it is a nicely built museum. The kids would find it interesting to see abacuses of different sorts over the period of time. Moreover, this small visit to the museum can conveniently be combined with visit to adjacent China Audit History Museum and a nice walk on the pathway along Hao River. If still more time is available, the adjacent one hour boat ride in Hao River can also be undertaken which gives nice city views. See more..

   In Nantong itself, this is the best daytime attraction. (In the evening, try a boat ride on the canal and see the lights.) There are many steps to the top of the "mountain", quite steep. Very good exercise to walk up. Good views of Nantong city, and also out to the water where you can see the ships. Go on a day when the air quality is not too unhealthy, since you will be breathing heavy from the walk up, and will want clear views from the observation decks. The temple is reasonably nice, though you can't get very good pictures of it from the top because you will be very close and looking straight up. But inside there were monks dressed in their gold colored robes, keeping a steady rhythm on a drum while people kneeled for a prayer. At the bottom of the mountain, there is an area with a creek and also a large statue of a wolf that people were climbing up onto to get pictures taken. See more..

   This is a closed river in the city of Nantong, locked with weirs from the main busy river. the banks are beautifully landscaped and have walkways on both sides with lawns and trees and circles around the city that is 3 kl from the main river, at night it is lite up with colored lights on both sides with boats canoes and ferries even a floating restaurant and boating tours day and night till around 12 midnight, very very pretty well worth a night out on the water.    I go to Aushan every week. Nothing special, Aushan is Aushan anywhere you go. The prices at the shopping mall are pretty high. The brand shops are here. Some top floor restaurants do not welcome foreigners, just because they are foreigners and stuff is scared of virus. Would not recommend this place. Just average mall. See more..

   The museum is not so much one museum as it is a collection of many small to medium buildings featuring a number of galleries. In all, an hour or two is more than enough time to see most of the halls, but the landscaped grounds outside can easily take another hour or two should you enjoy a picnic here. If you arrive in the early morning (7:30 to 8:30) you will find locals practicing Tai-chi, fan dances, fencing, and many other traditional Asian physical arts. The museum is also very close to some great shopping streets and the Si Lu old street (not sure of the name). Right outside the main gate was an adorable cafe that served great coffee and sold a huge range of gifts and snacks.... The main exhibit halls looked to have been renovated very recently.     之前去了狼山有点失望，据说军山的景色比较漂亮一些。我们是雨天来的，空气清新游客很少，路上还有小羊走来走去。刚进景区时看到一处大瀑布，那个水流和高度还真是挺壮观的，回来时发现瀑布关了，看来我们运气还不错阿。
