   This place is amazing!! We hired a car for the day to take us around to four main sights for ¥500. The entry is ¥45 and definitely too low! What a beautiful canyon! Wear sneakers as you will walk through the sandy bottom of the canyon and your shoes might get wet as there is a stream running through. Do not go if there have been rains as it is prone flash floods. Really incredible place that takes about an hour by car but must see!! See more..

   I learned the history of the temple site as a "women kingdom", but there is no local guide at the site. So we just walked around the area, with only minimal explanation, so we didn't enjoy much. I am sure it will be very interesting if someone can explain what are the buildings. There is a little museum next to the site, but it has only pictures, almost no value to go in. See more..

   the outside of the temple is all that we were allowed to visit. Around the back - another entrance has a lovely domed ceiling. The property also has the second largest mosque in Xinjiang and the mosque could certainly do with a vacuum and dusting. See more..

   This is the second biggest mosque in Xinjiang with the largest being in Kashgar. take a look at the room at the back of the mosque - quite beautiful. Also look for the stuffed pigeon on one light.     Only one beacon tower, you can see the a small scale yadan landform. But what impressed is the sound of the wind, quite scary, the wind pass through the gap and holes of the small hill, feel like ghost crying.     This is not our destination, but we pass by it on the way. Beautiful. There are small and big dragon ponds. But our driver could only make a stop at the big dragon pond. so we took some pictures and carried on our journey. There are few villagers' house provide accommodation and horse renting.     It is a tomb and mosque at the same place and it is really old mosque and tombs as well. The main court has some trees and a another entrence after the court and on the wall of the entrance you will see a ancient wooden tablet wich has arabic and chinese characters writen and after here you the another court and houses in side and intresting constrction and tombs can be seen from out side and this small court has a door to the cemetery.
