   过桥是限制人数的，十一人多的时候要排队过桥，个人感觉这桥还是造得挺有意思的，适合拍照打卡。小岛很小，但是空气很好，可以看到海（海水偏黄），适合闲逛，吹吹风听听海浪的声音，发发呆也是可以的。小岛上还有一个白色灯塔，适合拍照打卡。还有个寺庙和茶室，非常娴静！ See more..

   We stumbled across Guyaoshi Temple almost by accident, because it was not included in any of the trip information we had gathered before heading to Xitang, in Jiashan County south west of Shanghai. It is a magnificent temple with what appear to be living quarters for monks, a large central temple complex, and a magnificent nine-storey pagoda. But the place was absolutely deserted and I suspect it was under renovation, as there were signs of recent restoration of painting. We were able to get into the temple but unfortunately the pagoda was securely locked, so it was a "no go". See more..

    this street used to be the busiest street and thus the heart of the water town with shops and vendors. it is just famous locally for business. It's still a walking-only street (no cars). However, this street has been totally changed in recent years and it becomes one of the most famous bar streets in China. Tens (if not hundreds) of bars adjacent along the street open at evening, loud and noisy sound (rock band, singing, roaring, ...) and gloomy and flash lights fill the whole street and beyond.     Wang Yuan was the Commander-in-Chief of the imperial army in the Song Dynasty. After the so-called Mingshou Mutiny, Wang fled to Hangzhou, where many of his descendants still live today. One such moved to Xitang and build this historic house and garden in what is now Xitang Old Town. It is typical of the upper-class residences of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, artfully blending the man made structures with the natural rocks, streams and gardens surrounding it. Wang's House is not to be confused with Wang Refined Hostel, which is located nearby. Wang's House is on the official list of sites in Xitang Old Town and is admission is included in the cost of your 300 Yuan-a-day entry ticket to the old town. See more..
