   Well worth a visit to see these unusual animals, and quite unusual to see successful conservation efforts in China. The tour inside the park by electric vehicle was not so good as you can't get out and stops to take photos are limited, but after that you can walk to get close to the animals kept in large enclosures. There is a viewing platform near the pagoda, which is actually a water tower. You can also rent a battery powered boat, but I think you may not see the deer from the boat if the herd is elsewhere in the park. There were very few people in the park in the middle of the day.
