-Great Sunset Paddle
Eco Tours • Hiking & Camping Tours • Kayaking & Canoeing
This trip has to be timed with high tides, and when the timing works like it did for us, it is priceless. Adam and Nick were very knowledgeable, both about kayaking and the areas we would see around St. Martins. We were well prepped (sea kayaking is much different than lake) before heading out. We made to a remote beach in daylight, and had a nice snack of smoked salmon, cheese, crackers and cucumber. Just enough refuel for the paddle back! We watched the sunset on our return trip and pulled into St. Martins in twilight. Thanks very much Red Rock - can't wait to do this again. See more..

-Caves and quaintness
Geologic Formations
Cute little seaside town adjacent to the sea caves. The caves themselves are nothing particularly mindblowing, but the area as a whole is oozing with charm. Make sure you check the tides and go at low tide as they are inaccessible at any other time. The caves themselves are roped off so you cannot enter them. Wear sandals or shoes you can get wet as you will need to cross tidal pools and a small stream to get close. There is a restaurant, cafe, shops and washrooms all on site. If you’re feeling extra adventurous follow the path around the point at low tide to a hidden cove with additional non roped off caves. It’s very pretty and worth the effort, just time it correctly or you’ll be swimming back! :) Nice little spot. I’d recommend about 1 hour… more if you want lunch or a nice beachside coffee. -Everything you need to know about shipbuilding in St. Martins
Friday: 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM Libraries • History Museums
First settled in 1783, the village of St Martins was a major maritime destination during the Golden Age of Sail. With over 500 vessels launched off of our shores, the vessels built here sailed all over the world and brought back ideas and architectural designs which the Captains, wealthy shipbuilders, and mariners applied to the construction of their own homes. The shipbuilding and lumbering industry in the area once supported a population of nearly 4000 people. The Quaco Museum attempts to do justice to the vibrant past of St Martins by preserving and promoting our history through exhibits, activities, and education. With guided tours and a hands-on approach to history, you certainly won't regret making a stop at the Quaco Museum See more..

I hiked in from the gate, but next year you will be able to access it from the Fundy Trail Parkway. It will definitely, change with the opening up of it to the every day traveler. I am sure there will be area restriction on spots you can currently access for safety reasons, but you nothing can spoil that view. See more..
