   Located on the property of the Prince Edward Preserve Company is a 12 acre garden that runs along the beautiful River Clyde in New Glasgow. Take a peaceful stroll among the gardens, sit and watch the river and nature. The gardens were opened in 2005 The gardens are free (donations accepted) and have multiple trails to meander through. A chapel was moved to the gardens as part of their mission to build a respite house for those suffering from life threatening diseases and those who care for them - free of charge.. They hope to add a small chapel near the river in the future. Also in the Garden of Hope is a butterfly house. Entrance fee of $8 goes toward care of the butterflies and the respite house.    This is a place we've been to several times over the past few years . The place is scenic, the people are very friendly, prices quite reasonable and the apples are great!
