   We ate here in late June of 2021. The food here is phenomenal, portions large, and prices very reasonable. The staff were pleasant and surroundings, bathrooms, etc. very clean. They serve the best fish tacos I have ever eaten and that particular dish is a top choice for me in all restaurants. See more..

   My boyfriend and I were on a road trip from Moncton to Tracadie Sheila and decided to make a stop at this place. We had a nice time as it was very sunny. It is quite a small park but you can easily spend 1 to 2 hours here. We saw some birds: mainly ducks and seagulls but also a stilt sandpiper. The boardwalk is well maintained and allows you to discover everything this park has to offer. So if you are in the area do not hesitate to come visit this park. It might not be the best discoveries of all time, but it still offers a good break opportunity. See more..

   How lucky we are to have access to this island! It’s a day park with lots of picnic sites, many with spectacular views. It’s worth the drive just to see the lighthouse, which is painted in the colours of the Acadian flag. The boardwalk could use some TLC. I’m sure that will be taken care of because everything else here is maintained with pride. Next time, I’ll go for a day and not just a quick visit.    The park is located in the heart of downtown and includes picnic and recreational areas, a gazebo that can transform into an outdoor stage and toilet facilities.
