   captain Nate and his wife Michell are the best guides for a water adventure, full of local history seeing they are both long time residents. The boat is beautiful,comfortable,relaxing and safe.    The winemaker was very friendly and engaging. This is quite a small and simple operation and that is probably a good thing. The wines were very good with a robust flavor. My only disappointment was that the blueberry wine is no longer produced, but a very limited quantity was on hand. I tasted it and loved it, and was given a third of a bottle absolutely free. We were made to feel at ease and right at home. I strongly encouraged the winemaker to continue producing the blueberry wine and try a different marketing approach. Love the outgoing experiencess of the owner...portrays his desire to reach his goals in spite of the hardships and obstacles he may have encountered.    I have made a point of getting a round or two in on this course every summer when I get home to PEI for 10 years now and am always surprised to see how little use and recognition it receives. It is among the better maintained courses I have been to in PEI, and I would recommend more tourists check it out. The course is fun, the staff friendly, beer reasonably priced, and the views great, with the wooden bridge across the dam being the highlight, but the occasional sighting of a bald eagle should be mentioned as well.
