We stumbled on this park while driving looking for seals. It's seriously the best kid's park we've ever been to. TONS of play equipment for all ages, , forest walk with fairy tale statues, a snack bar, a beach, washrooms and showers. You could kill a whole day here if you wanted to. See more..

The beach near the last lighthouse is absolutely amazing. The sand is really smooth and the sandbars here are huge. You can explore the beach here all day. The water is really shallow along the beach and retains its heat so the water was still warm when I was there in the second week of September. When the tide goes out is when you really get to enjoy the sandbars. I was able to see live oysters burrowed in the sand and tons of different kinds of birds. There was no one there when I visited. I met a super kind local man who gave me the history of the area and gave me tips on where to find seals and schools of mackerel and the best spots to swim. Don't swim near the last lighthouse because there's a 30 feet drop off with a current right near the beach there. I almost don't want to review this place because I don't want it spoiled! Enjoy this beach. It's worth the visit. See more..
