We are just back from a 6 day visit to the Acadian Peninsula. We had a lovely visit to the lighthouse, it was sunny but windy. It's an easy climb up the lighthouse (wide stairs until the ladder at the top). We enjoyed to lovely views from the top. I think it was $5 each, we paid cash so I'm not sure if they take cards. We also enjoyed walking along the beach, it's a rocky shore. Restaurant and shop were closed for the season on September 7 (day after labour day for 2021). See more..

We went for a drive on a breezy October day with Miscou Island in mind. What a beautiful drive. The biking trails on the way to the island are paved! Though we weren’t biking I would certainly come back to bike in summer, as I’m a fair-weather biker. Do not drive by the boardwalk on the peat bog. The information provided is fascinating. Again something I will go back and see in the summer when in full bloom. Or as full bloom as a bog gets. The lighthouse and beach were beautiful and full of people enjoying the sun.
