   1.3km hike. Easy level, and wheelchair accessible. Beautiful scenery and tons of wildlife to see; frogs, cranes, ducks, fish, turtles, and beaver habitats. This is an amazing small hike and perfect for kids, seniors, those in wheelchairs, and anyone looking for a quick tour in nature. A nice boardwalk over the bog.    We are beach and picnic people and we took my visiting daugher and our two granddaughters to the beach at Mactaquac for a great day of fun, swimming and picnic. The shallowness of the water is great for little ones and the two year old loves to dig in the sand. We met some lovely local people there who shared their water guns and all the kids had a great day in the water. We took our kites there as well. The washroom facilities were clean and well maintained. The beach staff were busy cleaning up the "goose poop" off the beach and unfortunately it is on the grass as well. The picnic tables are great to have as you can eat without getting sand in your food. Also the tap to rinse off is a great amenity. a canteen would be helpful. No lifeguards onduty on June 22nd was surprising. See more..

   Mactaquac is really in good shape, this year. The greens are really good and fun to play on. For all the golfers that are visiting the region I strongly suggest that you take a turn and include Mactaquac in your golf courses plays. The fact that it is in a provincial park, gets you the chance to see some wildlife that I find very amusing. Mactaquac est en bonne été cette été. Les verts sont très bon et plaisant à y jouer. Je recommandes un détour à tous les golfeurs qui voyagent dans la région de Fredericton. J'aime beaucoup que nous sommes immersés dans la nature et que nous avons la chance de voire des animaux.
