-Honoring everyone in Edmunston
Spent < 1 hour Government Buildings
I was quite amazed of the beauty of the City Hall. It had a lovely fountain at the front and on its right it had wooden statues that displayed the kind of people who moved in Edmundston. We saw an First Nations, a Scottish, a native and way more. There was a plaque to honor all these people. I liked that ! Nearby the City Hall was a buffalo made by plants and it was in the middle of flowers. That was cool too ! I enjoyed this city Hall. Worthwhile to see! See more..

This church has two towers, one small, one big. It has some colorful stained-glass windows at the front of the church. It is quite big ! The cross is evident on the facade of this church. It was built in 1938, while the depression was reigning. The firs priest who came here was Father Pinest. He was 32 years old. Everyone liked him. I was glad to see this church. It was worthwhile to admire it! See more..

This church is quite unique. The Anglicans and the United share a pastor. The former United church was bought for arts. This church was built at 1878 and 1887 in NeoGothic style.. It's quite old, but still looks young though. It's a lovely church, with lots of stairs. It's light-brown façade is beautiful! It also has a nice steeple! I enjoyed exploring this church. It was worthwhile! See more..
- 5.0 City Hall Square (1 review)
-A square for all!
Points of Interest & Landmarks • Fountains
This square is well appreciated. It was quite hot on the day we were in Edmundston and there were several people on the square. It’s true that they have a lot of wooden benches in the shade. The main attraction was the fountain. It was beautiful! There were also lots of flowers. There was a building with a painting of someone playing Jazz. It seems that this building is for music. Cool! I enjoyed this square. We ate an ice-cream cone here and admired the beauty around us. What a great day! Worthwhile to visit it. See more..

I enjoyed exploring the University of Moncton at the Campus Edmondson. There were many buildings, some were linked with other buildings. The administration building is the most beautiful building of all of them. Wow! It has a high tower. At the very top there were windows in the form of the cross. Their library is huge! One thing I saw, is that the students do lots of exercise. Football, running and many other options. I like that! The sun was setting. We finished visiting this university on time. It was worthwhile! -Little piece of peace right by Edmunston
Hiking Trails
Went there on a warm and sunny saturday. I was suprised to be the only car in the parking. I hiked and geochached for about 3 hours before returning to the car. I met only one hiker in all that time! Very nice spot that is surprisingly not as busy as it should. It is a big weird to get to, and it doesnt show on Google Maps. If it wasn't for that very small sign by the road I would have not found it. I added the location on Google Maps, hopefully they add it to their maps to make it easier for others. See more..

- 4.0 Musee historique du Madawaska (1 review)
-The history of the North-West of New Brunswick.
Speciality Museums
This museum is located at the University of Moncton. It is dedicated to the history of the North-West of New Brunswick. The aboriginals in that area were named the Madoueskak. In the 18th century, Acadians moved in their territory. In the 19th century more people moved there. Everyone like the forests and the ground was perfect for agriculture. Another bonus, the next city was quite far from here. They were isolated and they liked that. There was a dispute between the Americans and the Canadians in this area, concerning the forest. The Americans decided to not dispute the territory any longer as they didn't want war with the Canadians. Everything was well explained. This is why this museum exists. Cool! A great place for history buffs! P.S. Admission fees are 5$ See more..
