These are inside Prince Edward National Park. I couldn't find an actual address to use for our map app to get to them so I tried using the address to the park, which took us to the wrong parking lot. Staff told us to go out that lot and left at the light but not good signage after that. Asked again and got to the correct gate. Park personnel confirmed they were in that area. $16 for the car for the day quite a bargain for we four adults we figured we'd just look at them and take photos and that would be it. Instead, if you follow the signs to Rustico Beach you can go down to beach level and wade and/or walk over closer to the scenic hold in the formations. It was a beautiful day and so relaxing to hang out there for a while this ended up being one of our favorite things for the week we were in Halifax and Charlotteville. See more..

An excellent Deep Sea Fishing business at reasonable cost oriented towards families. Marvin and his daughter JoLynn went out of their way to make sure everybody had a great time including the kids. They would set the hook with a fish on and hand the rod to the little kid to reel it in. Marvin knows his stuff and took us out to areas where there were lots of mackerel and cod to catch. The boat is newer and well maintained and fishing gear is simple and of good quality. Overall, an excellent morning spent on the water. Highly recommended. See more..

This has become an annual event when we visit PEI. Great setup for paintball. Great selection of gear (overalls, gloves, shoes, neck guards), guns, and great fields on which to play. Safety is stressed and maintained by refs. Staff is all very friendly. Obviously cost depend on how long you spend there and how many bullets you shoot but on average we spend $100 a person for 4 hours of play. We play the low impact paintball, just as fun but dont come home with any welts, just smiles! I have been there 3 times and each visit I am more impressed by the staff and setup. See more..

Everything about working with David was on point. From his prompt responses to being flexible with our schedules and on time as he promised. He was able to accommodate us to a spot near our residence and was able to put us on fish almost immediately. His personality is wonderful and very likable to keep us engaged and motivated to catch those fish. And even when the fishing slowed down he was able to make light of it and keep us going. They had a great selection of traditional souvenirs along with home Decour, Canadian made clothing including Tilly hats, beach towels, and jewellery and so much more. These National Heritage sites have been carefully restored and furnished to honour one of Canada's most beloved authors. The committee of volunteers has worked tirelessly to give the public an authentic look at how Maud lived and wrote many of her books while living in this tiny community. We recently attended a "Cat's Meow" evening with tasty bite-sized goodies, a silent auction of "cats" decorated by local celebrities and artists along with live entertainment to raise funds for a life sized bronze statue of Lucy Maud sitting in her beloved garden. What a wonderful evening! I hope there are many more such occasions! I understand afternoon teas are also offered after many tours of the site.This group of volunteers has created a friendly and welcoming destination which I intend to revisit again and again!
