    - Wow, beautiful beach

Excellent beach, very clean and nicely maintained by Parks Canada. The area has ample parking, washroom facilities and lifeguards on the beach. The water is shallow and you can walk out for 100 ft in some areas and the water is still only to your calves, thus very safe for children. Brackley Beach stretches out for a long way so there is plenty of room for families to spread out. The sand dunes are quite breathtaking. The sand is soft and a light red colour. We were there on a very hot day in August and it was a fantastic experience, it felt like we were in the Caribbean. If hot weather permits, go to Brackley Beach and enjoy this natural wonder in PEI. The Great Canadian Soap Company is well worth a stop. The owner talked to us about the soap and the reasons for the different colors. We bought a large variety to bring home. Who knew that goat soap was so special! I purchased several soaps for my friends at home, they were thrilled. I only wish I had purchased more. See more..
  4. 4.5 The Dunes Studio Gallery & Cafe (101 reviews)

We loved visiting here. There is a huge array of local art. Clothing, woodworking, ceramics, fine art, custom made furniture, sculptures, and much more. Prices can be inexpensive or high depending on what you’re looking for. If a person had the disposal income, they could drop $30-40,000 very quickly. If you venture into the rear of the property you will find an amazing and serene garden area. Many wooden, stone and cement sculptures dot the landscape. We thoroughly enjoyed wandering around. We walked early in the morning and saw a fox and deer, very exciting for our grand children. A little later it warmed up, mosquitos started to hunt for blood, more hikers came out. Well worth getting up for early! See more..
