Arlene went above and beyond for our family as our main goal to visiting PEI was discovering family lineage. She was instrumental in supporting us in locating family burial sites. She filled in missing pieces to our family tree. She shared brief narratives of relatives lives and even facilitated the meeting of two first cousins whom never knew each other. Truly amazing! First thing you notice is the beautiful building that this museum is housed in. The displays are extremely well done for a local museum. I thoroughly enjoyed my self guided tour about the history of Alberton of which my great grandfather was a part of. Looking forward to visiting again when I return to PEI. See more..

We spent 2 nights here. Sites 73 and 74 are as close to the ocean as humanly possible (we were a bit worried that high tide would actually get us, but no worries). These sites are directly across from the bathroom, which was extremely clean (they were cleaning it every few hours). The very bright light that couldn’t be turned off was a bit annoying but these are the only ones directly on the beach. Sites 56/57/58 are reasonably private, but the most private is the other beachfront site (in the 70s, can’t remember the number, all the way to the left when looking at the map). See more..

The view is spectacular, the food really tasty, and service is cheerful and prompt. You have a 180 degree views of merging the Northumberland Straits and the Gulf of St Lawrence. I've seen Seals playing, Sharks stalking, and men gathering Irish Moss. There is a nice little gift shop and educational displays regarding the power producing windmills in the area, which are many. Very impressive. See more..
