  3. 3.5 Alona Beach (2.714 reviews)
    - Beach starting to get crowded once more
    Beaches
    Alona Beach image
Alona Beach is said to be the best in Bohol. I have to agree. Clean shoreline. Fine white sand. But now that the economy is opening up , many people are already seen peddling wares such as massage, island hopping, motor water activities. Even Henann has many people offering many items in its location. See more..
  4. 3.5 Bulabog Beach (990 reviews)
    - Kite Surfing and then some
    Beaches
    Bulabog Beach image
Popular place for kite surfing in Boracay . Several restaurants. Some hotels. Some establishments not opened, maybe related to the pandemic. But beach area doesn’t seem well cleaned and maintained. Somehow good for photo ops. Activity wise, seem limited at this point in time. See more..

  6. 4.5 Dumaluan Beach (607 reviews)
    - Better than Alona beach
    Beaches
    Dumaluan Beach image
This beach will leave you speechless! It is not for passionate swimmers, but if you like to enjoy the white sand and clean water this is the place for you. It is a lot better than Alona beach, it is less crowded and more charming. The tricycle ride price to get from Alona to Dumaluan beach is 150PHP. That is the standard price, don't let anyone charge you more. There is a restaurant near the beach if you want anything to eat or drink. Prices are reasonable. See more..
  7. 3.5 Salagdoong Beach (509 reviews)
    - Not so special, food very bad
    Beaches
    Salagdoong Beach image
Its ok,but there a better beaches without entrance..and its very crowded..the cliff jump is the only highlight there.. You can make nice pictures, when its not so full yet..the water looks nice, but the sand is not so soft... The restaurant is not really good..we orderd sisig and bbq pork, which is one if our favorite dishes but was the worst we eat in all the years of travelling in the philippines..and also overpriced.. We go ahead the road and find more special beaches and places.. See more..
  8. 4.5 Ilig Iligan Beach (289 reviews)
    - Amazingly beautiful beach
    Spent 1-2 hours Beaches
    Ilig Iligan Beach image
Ilig-iligan Beach, during the months of June to November, is simply beautiful. While the winds and waves batter White Beach, in Ilig-iligan, the sea is very calm. The sand is powdery and cool to the skin even during day time. Moreover, there are very few establishments here so the pros are it is very quiet and peaceful and cons are there are no alternatives to food or drinks except those stores that are already there. If you want the relative peace and quiet that you get from Puka Beach and the sand and water similar to White Beach, I strongly suggest Ilig-iligan Beach. See more..
  9. 4.5 Paradise Beach (237 reviews)
    - Crystal clear waters, perfect for swimming and being just lazy
    Beaches
    Paradise Beach image
Located about 30 minutes from Sta Fe town, this is a secluded beach that has clear waters and gently sloping sandbed. Nothing much to do except just swim and laze around or explore the rocks nearby. (I'm letting the photos speak for themselves.) It's best to go in the morning as umbrella shades are on a first come, first served basis. There are no restaurants so you need to bring your own food and drinks. Entrance fee at 50 pesos. I got there via a habal-habal for 200 pesos roundtrip. I'm sure you can haggle or go there using your own ride. See more..
  10. 3.0 Lakawon Island (215 reviews)
    - Holiday
    Islands • Beaches
    Lakawon Island image
First of all, let's start with what's not so good. 1. The cost of food and beverage in this island are quite pricey. E.g a jug of ice will cost you 50 php (1 usd). 2. The beach are also quite dirty. For the environmental fees that they charge us in the port, I'm expecting cleaner beach. 3. There's no proper shower area to clean up after u enjoy the beach. Regardless of spending a day or staying over night. So let's go through the good one now. 1. The food is delicious and properly cooked. I did said that almost everything is quite pricey here, however it's understandable since the only way to go in and out of this island is by the pump boat. So to transport their supplies is also quite challenging. 2. The cottage for me is acceptable however an improvement will be appreciated. 3. Aircon are working like how it supposed to be despite that electricity in this island only running on generator. 4. Last but not least, the beach are beautiful! Clear emerald water with white sand. And the view of the sunset was breathtaking. Overall I'm satisfied with my trip to Lakawon. However I'm really hoping that the management of this island to do some improvement on the site maintenance and cleanliness. This small island have a big potential to be famous island. See more..
  11. 4.0 Paliton Beach (177 reviews)
    - Great for sunset view
    Beaches
    Paliton Beach image
Been here 1st week of December. It was like mini Boracay. The locals are very friendly. The water was shallow and great for swimming or just lazing around. Although a public beach, it's a good place to watch the sunset, too especially during sunny weather without some clouds. There's also a line of stalls selling ready to eat seafood and other food staples which you can enjoy at the beach. My tour guide here was kuya jun mark, very good photographer. You can find him on fb or contact him at zero nine three five five six one four four zero zero. One of the great place to be at Siquijor, the Paliton Beach. See more..

    Thursday: 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM Beaches
    Manjuyod White Sandbar image
It was November 19,2022 When we are still in the port rain started to drop for few minutes. But when we leave and arrive Manjuyod White Sandbar the rain is gone and the beautiful sun started shine. 15. 4.5 Sugar Beach (126 reviews)
    - Excellent beach
    Beaches
    Sugar Beach image
This is a really, really pretty beach. The sand is perfect, and the sea is clear and clean. It's safe to swim as there are no urchins etc. Yet, if you want to snorkel, you can take a short walk over the hill at the end of the beach and see some amazing coral and wildlife under the water. As some have said, the food is pricey on the beach. Make sure you try Sulu Sunset (right at the top of the beach, the last set of bungalows). The food at Sulu is the best on the beach and has BIG portions that will fill you up, beer is cheap and staff are warm and welcoming. Avoid eating at Takatuka - it's all about presentation, and the taste secondary, and the portions tiny. Even my 8 year olds were starving after a full meal each there. See more..
  16. 4.0 Doljo Beach (98 reviews)
    - Best Sunset View
    Beaches
    Doljo Beach image
One of the more underrated beaches in Panglao. So much calmer and more peaceful than Alona or Libaong. It's quiet so it's recommended for those who just want to get away and be with the beach. Clear blue water and white sand. By far best sunset views in Panglao!!! See more..

  18. 4.5 Boracay Waters (56 reviews)
    - Lots of Water activities available

    Boracay Waters image
There are many touts who will try to sell the water activities. Just ensure you get the right agent to handle your activities or you may directly to Station 1 booth to arrange and pay your money. There are many water activities namely - island hopping, surfing, sailing, parasailing, jetski, speedboat, snorkelling, helmet diving, cliff diving, scuba diving, helicopter ride, banana boat ride and many more. You can also choose to just swim at the shore or sunbathing. If you are tired, go for a massage or you may relax at the shore, have coconut water. The beach is clean. Good place to be away for a holiday in Boracay from your normal routine and away from the hustle and bustle city life. The beach is so beautiful with crystal clear water. See more..

  22. 4.5 Tiamban Beach (42 reviews)
    - Crystal Clear Water!
    Beaches
    Tiamban Beach image
This beach has a clearer water than that of Bonbon. The beach part has a private part and a public one. It's best to to go during late morning since you'll be able to see how clear its water. We paid an entrance fee of 20 pesos per head. There weren't any group of people besides mine and to think that it was almost summer when we visited Although the stretch of the beach consists parts of fine sands and roughs, this is by far the best beach to go to in Romblon. > Accesible via boat or by land; tricycle/private car from the Romblon town proper > Veryyyy clear water > Some rock formations just a few steps from the shore!! >Cheap >No crowd and very quiet > Perfect for those who want to relax >And for those booklovers hitting the beach! 23. 4.0 Punta Ballo Beach (42 reviews)
    - Gorgeous white sand
    Beaches
    Punta Ballo Beach image
This gorgeous white sand beach has an attractive curve to it, especially when viewed after clibing the 71 steps to Nattaasan Resort (and restaurant). The beach was super clean and even at low tide is inviting. There are about five small accommodation providers such as Easy Diving along the strip. Helpfully, there are three sari-sari stores, one of whom sold me delcious cold mangoes for P28 each - perhaps a 'foreigner price' but nonetheless good value for a sweet Philippine mango that made a great snack on my hired bangka trip back to Sugar Beach, which was 45 minutes or so away. 25. 4.0 Red Beach (37 reviews)
    - Standing tall after the typhoon!
    Beaches
    Red Beach image
The bronze statues of MacArthur, Quezon and landing party at Red Beach are about the only thing still standing in this area after Super Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda). The surrounding buildings and trees are shattered and leveled, but the statues stand tall. Says volumes about a by-gone era when things were built with pride and for keeps. Historically, an extremely important marker of the fulfilled commitment of Americans to Filipinos during World War II -- also perhaps part of a by-gone era when America took it's commitments and roles in the world more seriously and prioritized its battles more carefully? 34. 4.0 Borromeo Beach (13 reviews)
    - Worth every penny
    Beaches
    Borromeo Beach image
We got the villa that's good for 8. It cost us php 2,600.00. It had 2 separate airconditioned rooms which were clean, had comfy matresses and 2 pillows each bed. They will provide you 4 extra matresses. There are 2 CRs available (1 for shower and toilet, the other for toilet use only). It's not that clean, but will do if you're not a neat freak. There's a refrigerator that you could use but doesn't bring much cold. The dining area is huge! You could request their staff to cook your meals. Our food budget was 2,100 php in total for dinner (liempo, fish, squid, chicken, and rice) and breakfast (corned beef, tuna, dried fish, omelete and rice). Servings are bountiful and their cooking is average. Their beach front is clean, with fine sand and clear waters. See more..

In the end, I decided to extend my stay at the Aglicay - the beach was great, the setting was idyllic, and the Aglicay Beach Resort was the best value beach resort on the island. See more..
