The most beautiful sunset

We are a young couple and have done this boat trip on Albufera lake a few times both on the public boat and the private hire too. Both are a wonderful experience, although I would recommend paying more for the private hire so that you are able to be alone and enjoy the peaceful and stunning sunset views. The boat drivers, Sento and Paco were knowledgable, interesting and keen to make the trip as fun as possible, allowing us to stop in a beautiful spot and take photos of the sunset which is truly an incredible sight to see. Its a MUST!

    Dont miss this super visit!!
    Simply amazing place, people and experience!!! A lovely way to spend a day. Only a 40 minute bus ride from the city of Valencia this area offers so much. Book early and take the early bus as otherwise it gets VERY warm. From the bus we headed to the boats and the lake cum lagoon is immense so I thought that we were heading to the sea!! After a gentle boat trip around the lake we headed back to the land and walked into the small town. The lake gives the locals fish as well as rice growing so they look after it well. In the little town we sat down for a beer and then a super lunch which includes paella cooked using the local rice. truly delicious! At 1430 we climbed back onto our bus to head back to the city, a truly great experience NOT to be missed.

    Brilliant Natural Lake just outside a busy city
    Albufera lake located just outside the city if Valencia is one of a kind. This lavish, almost dream like lake is one of Valencia's secret gems. There many ways to get to Albufera, either make your own way there by busvand get a boat trip yourself or Valencia also offers an excersion type service which bus travel to and from El Palmer, the mai village for Albufera, it includes a 1 hour boat trip all for £20 and €35 with a paella dish from one of El Palmer's local restaurants. This place is magnificent, the lakebis beautiful and pretty large in size. The boat trip travels through the water ways between the water grass which was very scenic. Cannot be missed when in Valencia.
