You must go its a green oasis in the heart of the city FABULOUS

Wow what a wonderful park in the middle of the city a great place to relax and wat h the world go by . January blue skies sun shining temp 20 degrees. People picnicking , kids playing , people sunbathing , skating , biking it was a fantastic experience . we walked from the old city of arts and Science took about 30 to 40 minutes. Orange trees , lemon trees, sculptures , fountains just fabulous. We will definitely go back to Valencia , we went through the park on numerous occasions and took a picnic. Plenty of places to sit although a picnic blanket would have been good. Next time we will hire bikes and cycle through the who park which is about 9 kilometres. Well worth a visit and great views from the top of the tourist bus loved it . You can spend as long or as short a time but well worth going

    Beautiful city park
This park spans miles across the city and is a really easy (and flat) way of travelling around with kids without having to worry about roads. There is loads to see and do in the park. Parc Gulliver is free to get in to and can keep the kids entertained for ages!

    A Big Great Park
Valencia is an interesting city and this park is one of the reasons why. 9 kilometres long, the park starts at the city of Arts and Science and ends at Cabecera Park. The park usd to be the Turia River, but because of flooding the river was diverted just south of the city. Today the former river bed is home to one of Europe's largest urban parks. If you are a keen walker, or even cycler, you can walk the whole park in about 2-3 hours. Today the park is home to many ponds and fountains, it passes under 18 bridges and is a great place for excercising. It is also homebto park Gulliver which was sadly closed while I was there. The park takes you away from Valencia's busy city life and there are many other attractions just right next to it which includes the Museum of Fine Arts and Torres Serranos. I highly recommend a visit to the park ita just wonderful.
