4.5Planai & Hochwurzen(396 reviews) - Very nice, also in summer Ski & Snowboard Areas
We came here in summer to enjoy mountains and nature. With the Dachstein Sommercard we had the usage of one cable car of our choice included. That worked quite well, also in covid 19 times. The area itself is great and very beautiful. You'll find a wide range of hiking trails of different difficulties to various places like mountain summits, lakes or alpine cabins. So even outside of winter, this is a nice area to spend your vacation.See more..
4.5Kreischberg(108 reviews) - Austrian Gem Spent More than 3 hours Ski & Snowboard Areas
I have now skied in Kreischberg 6 times and I can honestly say that it is superb. I go with a group of friends and we stay at Chalet Alpen Rose in Stadl An De Mur. The resort itself offers a good mix of runs for all abilities mostly served by gondola or chair lifts. There are lots of places on the mountain to stop for a drink or something to eat and all the resort staff are very friendly and make you feel really welcome. If you need any lessons the local ski school Mayer is superb. Its a big thumbs up from me.See more..

If you are wondering whether or not to take the cable car up the Dachstein mountain range - do it! Especially if the weather is fine. There are outstanding views across the Alps, a café at the summit, and also the suspension bridge and ice cave to explore. Not cheap, but worth it. A real experience.See more..

4.0Berglift Stuhleck(42 reviews) - Nice skiing resort, close to Bratislava too Ski & Snowboard Areas
We are going skiing there, from Bratislava its only 160km, 99% highways, so it takes 1,5 hours. Possible to start @morning and return back home @evening. Lats time, it was pretty hot, 3-5°C but slopes were pretty good and all lifts were working. On some slopes were quiet a lot people, like in Saturday. But try others and you will find a good one for you. Recommended is use road parking P4 I think as it is few meters from slopes and you don't have to,wait for lift back to P1 @ the end of the day. 4.0Skigebiet Hohe Veitsch(5 reviews) - Kleines, aber feines Schigebiet Spent More than 3 hours Ski & Snowboard Areas
See more..

"Piste free for nightbirds" The Tobogan-run Grafenwiese town to the valley developed to one of the most famous winter-attractions for guests and inhabitants in the region. Especially because of its driveway with the T-bar-lift and the well-lit and prepared pist. Meanwhile also a speed measurement is installed - high-speed 50 km/h Because of the "high-tech"-safety device of the 70 Two-seater-sleighs also small chrildren can drive the run alone easily To undergo an appropriate mountain lodge party you should visit the ski hut of Grafenwiese with homemade delicate dishes of the reagion and warm drinks. The Toboggan-Run is opened every tuesday and saturday 17:30-20:30 o'clock. During christmas and in february also every thursday. Every Saturday spare-rips-night in the skihut (reservation required). The pristine landscape of the nature park extends between the mountains Zirbitzkogel (2.396m) and Grebenzen (1.870m). The route and path network within the natural environment offers many opportunities for experienced alpinists as well as for hikers or those who wants to enjoy by country life very closely. The Zirbitzkogel is very well known as the most favourite mountain in Styria, but there are also a lot of ponds, springs and everglades you can visit by foot. Among romantic water ways and canyons, species-rich grasslands and forests – the nature park Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen provides adventures and entertainment for families, cyclists, sightseers and almost everyone.See more..
5.0Die Tauplitz(1 review) Monday: 8:45 AM - 4:00 PM Spent More than 3 hours Ski & Snowboard Areas
Rosegger Schutzhaus(0 review) Monday: Spent 1-2 hours Ski & Snowboard Areas This is a mountainhut ('a so called Schutzhütte) at the mountain Pretul in Ratten, in Steiermark in Austria. From here you can go ski-touring, skiing, snowboarding, but also rent a sledge to go sleighing from the mountain in winter. You can park your car somewhere half the mountain from where you can come up the mountain the way you want to, and at the hut you can get the sledge and of course a hot chocolate or Glühwein or some good Austrian food to eat.See more..
