Constanta Beach, Southeast Romania, Romania
4.0 (147 reviews) Spent Ranking #11 in Southeast Romania Beaches
Only 3 months / year
Constanta and Mamaia beaches are a place to go only from June to September cause the weather is cold for the rest of the year. Do not expect too much from Romanian beaches but enjoy the sun , the Black Sea and outdoor activities. Under any circumstances do not eat and do not let kids to eat from those who are selling corn , melon or anything else directly on the beach cause you can quickly end at the hospital . Eat only in restaurants packed with people cause there food doesn't have time to alterate.

Choose the right section
Constanta beach is split up into lots of sections. At one end of the beach which is near the old town, casino and promenade you will find plenty of sun beds to hire, bars, restaurants and music. This part of the beach was incredibly loud and busy. However, stroll 5 minutes away from there and you’ll find a much quieter section of the beach. Yes, you can hire a sun bed but here must people just lie in the sand. There is one small bar that has shade and tables. Decent toilets. Super clean. Super quiet. Incredibly chilled and relaxing. I really suggest this beach if you want to escape the tourists traps and just want to chill out and lay in the sunshine.

Nice beach
Also known as "Modern beach" although seasonal owners change parcel names almost every year. This doesn't change the fact is a good beach to go to get tanned. Lifeguards are always present during summer season and the water is not so deep, so parent won't have to worry about kids.
