We had a lovely day

Huge beach and the sea was REALLY warm :) We parked alongside the road. There is a beachbar with drinks, sandwiches and ice cream (first place where we could buy Magnums ice on Krk). The sea only becomes deeper after a long walk. There are showers on the beach. Of course we covered ourselves with mud and had lots of fun. I have not yet checked if my wrinckels vanished hahaha.

    Muddy Fun
    Lovely big shallow bay. You need to walk out for a long way before you are more than waist deep. There are a few areas with dark mud that is fun to slather all over your skin. I can't say I found it particularly theaputic for the skin, but it was good fun! There is also a lot of sand which is unusual for Croatia. We were warned that the mud would stain clothes so don't wear your best swimwear. We just avoided getting it on our costumes and it all washed off in the sea when we had finished playing. The muddy areas are a bit slippy so walk carefully if you are carrying your camera or clothes you dont want to get muddy. Worth going for the group photos of everyone covered in mud! There is a big free carpark on the other side of the road so easy to get to by car.

    Free and fun
    The bay is quite nice, there is a sort of little river and here you will find the therapeutic mud it is dark mud don't get the wrong one! ,get your self dirt with it, wait and let it dry then take a swin! It is fun and different from all the other beaches in Krk
