Such a wonderful place to be with white sandy beach around the island. This island offer unique experience as you can walk up a kilometre long wooden bridge across the island and up to the shore. On the island entrance, theres an option of taking a ride in the back of a motorbike by locals. It costs only 15k Rupiah per single trip. Just try to bargain if you are international tourist. So you know this is your bargain point. Up in this island, there are several restaurants where you can eat grilled fish and other seafood selection made on spot. Average package price is around 150k Rupiah ($7) for 3 sort fishes, a portion of veggies and bucket of rice. Remember, the more fishes they offered you, the more you have to pay. My wife and I definitely had a wonderful time here although we went there during rainy season (may - june period), but this place has so much to offer in short period of time.See more..

Had a great time here. The island is pretty small, and not used to tourists. There are no places to stay, so you'll have to camp, or know someone who can offer you a room. But be warned, the place is very underdeveloped, with no fresh water and basic toilets. If you need the comforts of civilisation, then it is advisable to get a boat from Ternate in the morning, to take you to the more secluded beaches. This island was so pretty. The beach was beautiful, with soft coral and white sand, and calm sea. So inviting. But please be very careful! People said that there were crocodiles at some beach. Though the weather was so hot, but this island will give you a great scenery, green hills, and sea breeze. Be careful for the dust, since there were lots of copper mining activities there.See more..

So far, this is the best mangroove I have ever seen. Usually, mangroove has brownish and not-so-clear water beneath. But this place has very-very clear water underneath, and so many coral species underwater. Which is why you could only explore this area by mid-small boat with low speed. On the corner of this island, you could find the white sandy beach to ne stranded for. Or you could swim around, snorkling and find the flowery coral reefs with tons of fish species.
