the island is very beautiful
We stayed two nights on the island. The accommodation is very basic, but it's worth to spend at least a night on the Dodola island. Take a mosquito net with you and also a repellent. There are sand flies around as well.

Heaven of Morotai
Been there twice & love the place a lot. The boat rent is a bit expensive so better to negotiate well with the boat owner. To reach this island you have the possibility to visit Zum-Zum island too as it includes on the boat rent fee :) Try to stay one or two nights on the bungalow in Dodola and enjoy fishing or swimming on your "private island". Less people come during weekdays :)

Beautiful island
Dodola island is a very nice place for a picnic day trip. Not much for food to pick from besides popmie noodles. And over night accommodations are slim. So pack a lunch for your visit. If you are staying overnight, you may want to bring your own bedding. Or sleep out on a palapa for the night. But it is truly a beautiful island. We walked and swam the day away. Even saw a black tipped shark in the shallows while walking in the water. They are building more overnight cabins, so they would be a good option when done.
