Interesting and enjoyable day. Allow enough time to explore
We came to the museum with the purpose of seeing the special Rus Viking exhibition and this was excellent; we spent over two hours in this one exhibition. We were then intrigued by the other galleries and spent the rest of the day exploring including the Grauballe Man, and the stairway of evolution. In addition to the superb exhibits, the architecture, interiors and layout is most impressive. We will return to the museum to see the exhibitions we couldn't fit into our day and to explore the surrounding area, wood and beach as well as picnic on the roof. A very easy 25 minute bus ride from the centre of Aarhus (no. 18 bus from Park Alle.

    Best Museum Ever!
My 13 year old grandson and I have voted this museum the "best" out of all the museums we've ever visited. The displays were laid out in a logical fashion. There was so much to see! It's also a lovely location.
