Shopping mall De Weiert Emmen
Large shopping mall in the centre of Emmen. With all common brand shops and low budget shops. You must visit the drugstore Die Grenze medicamente outside the mall at the square. Special prices for food and bodycare products. Parking garage gives direct access to the mall. Pleasant when it rains.

Covered but light
Modern shopping complex with scores of stores in central Emmen, just across the new zoo. The different passage ways named after painters are all covered with glass ceilings that let daylight through. It reflects a modernist vision about how future city centers should look like: comfortable venues where people can consume without being bothered by wind, rain or cold.
