Good insight in prison life
In the museum you'll find a lot of information and explanation about prison life throughout history. There's also a lot of info about the Veenhuizen history. Most interesting to me is the visit to the present day prison facility, which gives good insight.

Interesting visit!
WE had always known it was there, but never visited it. When we did it proved to be quite interesting. It was referred to as a penal colony, there were some very interesting exhibits, and a courtroom as well. You can walk on the quadrangle around which the prison buildings are located.
