Amazingly beautiful

Designated as a national treasure, this pagoda is one of three famous pagodas in Japan beside that of Daigoji and Horyuji. As I visited this place, the weather was very nice, and I just forgot time passing, while contemplating. It is just amazing.

    Treasure of Yamaguchi
This pagoda is beautifully placed in a park at the foot of a mountain, with a pond in front of it, which enhances the global appreciation you have for the temple. The pagoda itself is surrounded by nature and there is no entrance fee. You can go for a walk in the park, and visit the temple that is right next to it. The Ruriko temple is a marvel of the 15th century and one of only 2 national treasure structures of Yamaguchi prefecture. Please visit, it is worth it.

    Absolutely Beautiful!
I live not far from Yamaguchi and have visited the Pagoda and Temple for the first time. The Pagoda is considered one of Japan's great Pagoda's. The layout is beautiful with the pond in front and hills in the background. You can really get some amazing photos here. I want to come back during each season to see the Pagoda and surrounding nature. Walk around the park and temple to get other views of the pagoda. If in Yamaguchi Prefecture, make the Ruriko Five Story Pagoda a must see!
