We stopped here on a recommendation from Calfkiller Brewery! They offered 3 tastings for free but my group did a full tasting for $5 per person. North field has a lovely selection of wines and ciders, and I would definitely recommend tasting all of their offerings. After the tasting, we ate lunch on the property (we brought our lunch - they do not sell food) and had the pleasure of dining with Bo, their beautiful Great Dane! They have beautiful grounds surrounded by fields and horses and we lived eating there. The gift shop had a selection of cheeses and local food products like honey and salsas. Everyone was friendly and we loved our stop here!See more..
If you are reading this review with a Twinkie in your hand this hike is not for you. We hiked to the main falls in about 3 hours with a 50 lb pack. The hike is full of ups and downs with large rocky steps. Don't be a sissy and stop halfway at the large cave laurel falls. It's a good resting spot but your almost there. Bring a tent, bedding, water and food so you can stay overnight. You will have the falls to yourselves. Climb to the top and go back into the cave the water comes out of. Feels like an a/c unit. Stretch a hammock across the trees in front of the falls. This place is great but you got to earn it. There are places to build a fire and spots to camp at top but we slept at the bottom because it's 15 degrees cooler.See more..

This place was great. They had pottery by several different potters as well as jewelry, bags, hats & scarves. The prices were very reasonable. The shop keeper was friendly and knew a lot about all of the merchandise as well as the area. I found lots of gifts and a few things for myself. I’m so glad we stopped in!See more..

5.0Lost Creek State Natural Area(1 review) - Remote and baeutiful Spent 1-2 hours Points of Interest & Landmarks Lost Creek Falls is one of the attractions here. It's remote yet somewhat easy to find. A very small parking lot and a .2 mile hike down to the base of the falls. We were there when the fall colors were near peak. BEAUTIFUL! Just across the trail from the falls is Lost Creek Cave which was closed due to hibernating bats. It's one of the larger caves in Tennessee with seven miles of mapped passages. Recreational access is allowed during other times of the year, but a no-cost permit must be obtained from the Nature Center at Fall Creek Falls.See more..
