   Very proud to say my great grandfather built these two house in Sparta. Everytime we go through we know Great Grandpa Hickey blasted the rock himself and carried the rock down the mountainside on an old mule he built both these structures and my grandfather Charley O Hickey was born in one of the houses in 1903. A lot of my heritage and family members of the Hickey family are buried in Black Oak cemetery nearby just outside of town See more..
