Remote and baeutiful
Lost Creek Falls is one of the attractions here. It's remote yet somewhat easy to find. A very small parking lot and a .2 mile hike down to the base of the falls. We were there when the fall colors were near peak. BEAUTIFUL! Just across the trail from the falls is Lost Creek Cave which was closed due to hibernating bats. It's one of the larger caves in Tennessee with seven miles of mapped passages. Recreational access is allowed during other times of the year, but a no-cost permit must be obtained from the Nature Center at Fall Creek Falls.
