The "Pass", as locals refer to it, was created by a hurricane on September 27, 1848. A pirate, John Levique, made the first passage through the newly created pass. Hence the name, Johns Pass. Located on the waterfront at Johns Pass, this quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village is Pinellas County's #1 tourist attraction. Over one hundred merchants inhabit the Village with unique retail shopping, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing.See more..
Besides the weather been a little cold and my teen age getting seasick we had a blast. We were on the 5 hour trip. The whole crew were spot on we the captain putting us on the fish and John boy showing us how to hook our shrimp and grabbing the fish of the hook. Over all it was a great experience and would recommend it to anyone and will definitely do it again in warmer weather. A Big thank to Hubbards Marina and the crew. Me the Martinez family.See more..

Rented a bowrider for four hours from Jack's and had an absolute great experience. This is basically a self guided tour. We were met at the designated time and provided a briefing explaining everything we needed to do to get to our end point, avoid hazzards, remain within Bay regulations and return safely. A GPS is on the boat to ensure you stay on track and avoid shallow water. It was simple and enjoyable. We highly recommend. I would post a pic but TripAdvisor's software blowsSee more..
