Great Day in the Bay

Rented a bowrider for four hours from Jack's and had an absolute great experience. This is basically a self guided tour. We were met at the designated time and provided a briefing explaining everything we needed to do to get to our end point, avoid hazzards, remain within Bay regulations and return safely. A GPS is on the boat to ensure you stay on track and avoid shallow water. It was simple and enjoyable. We highly recommend. I would post a pic but TripAdvisor's software blows

    Wonderful experience
We rented a boat from Jack's and were very impressed. The staff was professional and courteous and very thorough. The boat was in good condition and they supplied a cooler, ice, a map and took the time to go over everything and map out our course to Shell Island. It was such a relaxing day. We'll definitely return.

    Boat day
Rented a boat from this place with a few of my friends that came down for a visit. the up front price is reasonable and the staff are all very friendly and helped us get out on the water quickly. That being said they told us when we got there that we couldn't go on the gulf and they didn't let people rent tubes. None of that is their fault, and a little research before hand could have told me that but it was still disappointing. We pretty much stayed on a straight pre designated path and had to put through an hour of no wake zones to get to a beach and then get lunch and come back. It was fun, but we could have gone to the beach and lunch without spending $450 on a boat rental. Also there is no way to verify what they're telling you about how much gas you used which was a little annoying. All in all it is kinda fun if you want to putt around and see some nice houses, dolphins, and shell key. But if you're looking for an exciting super fun time on the water (tubing, going fast through open spaces, exploring freely) this isn't it.
