Got to see the amazing sunsets
My first stay at a Florida beach and Madeira didn't disappoint. White sand, warm clear water. Just the right balance of touristy/small town appeal. Can't fail to mention the incredible sunsets. Everyday is unique and beautiful. When you have hundreds of people standing around the beach taking pictures of the sunset, you know it's something special.

Pleasant Picturesque Beaches
Other than being their during Hurricane Ian it was a wonderful experience. Beautiful white sugar sand. Not too crowded. Perfect weather. I like that this area isn't a Miami or a Daytona Beach with throngs of young people and loud music. There were nice quiet peaceful beaches for us older people to enjoy.

Dolphins close to shore
We stayed at a beachside condo. The view was amazing with the sunsets and the dolphins swimming by on many days. The beach itself is a real mix of people, couples, families, hippies.. but the nice thing is that the beach is so wide you can spread out and not let anyone bother you. The only downside is the Red Tide has moved north to this location.
