    Points of Interest & Landmarks
    Lough Navar Forest Viewpoint image
I planned to visit this viewpoint and so sought directions as to it's location as most people would do. The entrance is sign posted as well. There is a very good leaflet to be had from the Tourist Information Centre in Enniskillen that gives you well explained details entitled Lough Navar Forest Drive and it was very helpful in respect of the seven (7) main points of interest and how to get to them either by car or, with some, on foot. This is a seven mile long drive that has been created to allow the public to enjoy the scenery within the forest area. Magho Cliffs, at a height of 1,000 ft as a viewpoint is one of the best I've seen and we were lucky to be there on a warm sunny day to see a bird's eye view of Lower Lough Erne and its islands. To the East are the rounded Sperrin Mountains, to the North lie the Blue Stack Mountains in Donegal while to the West there is Slieve League, Donegal Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. See more..

  23. 4.5 Topped Mountain (41 reviews)
    - Second only to Lough navar viewpoint.
    Mountains
    Topped Mountain image
Topped mountain dominates northwestern Fermanagh. It's so called because of the prominent cairn on the summit, upon which is a modern triangulation post. The steep path from the little carpark has recently been renovated, but proper footwear is advised for the ten minute climb. There is a thoughtful bench to rest halfway up. The view from the top is wonderful. On a clear day the Sperrin mountains to the north, Clogher valley to the east, and all of Fermanagh to the west are laid before you. Fermanagh's air is so clear and pollution-free that binoculars can show boats on Lough Erne many miles away! An idyllic place, which you'll likely have all to yoursef. See more..
  24. 4.5 Lough Erne (38 reviews)
    - Great Place to Relax
    Bodies of Water
    Lough Erne image
We traveled to the Lough Erne in July 2020 which of course is during the Covid 19 pandemic. Things are of course different but still enjoyable. Going away for us was a tough decision because of the pandemic but having talked to the staff in advance and reading up on the measures on Facebook our minds were eased. The hotel has went to great measures to make customers feel safe, all rooms are cleaned with Zoono and rooms sealed before guests arrived, the door there is a temperature reader and sanitiser. Waiting staff also wore masks as expected! The pool and spa area need booked in advance and guests are allocated slots and encouraged to change in the bedroom, we really liked this because there was less people in the pool area so could get into the hot tub, steam room and sauna whenever we wanted. The bedroom had a fantastic view, we missed proper cups and glasses but what would you expect during a pandemic. We will stay again! See more..
