    We set out in the hot afternoon sun to find this notable and important landmark. After two hours of walking to the location marked on the TripAdvisor map, the big chick was nowhere in sight. We asked the security guard at the Lampang Highway Maintenance Office where it was. He asked his friend while we petted his overly friendly dogs. His friend, “Bang”, knew the whereabouts of the cock in question and offered to drive us there. Gratefully we accept. Five minutes later we see the famous Lampang Rooster in all its glory. Drawing closer we notice the podium on which it sits is also a roundabout. I knew that if I was driving I most certainly would’ve crashed as I beheld the magnificence of this fine statue. The Rooster alone: 6/5. Because the location was wrong: -1. The danger of such a mind-blowingly beautiful statue being the centrepiece for a roundabout: -1. 4/5 stars, not bad. See more..
