-One I'll never forget
Scuba & Snorkelling
Pedro is very laid back and friendly. His family and home are beautiful (I highly recommend staying in one of his cabins. The dives are superb. We went down just days after a hurricane came through that impacted visibility, however it was still good. Pedro's expert guidance in swimming with Caribbean Reef Sharks cannot be understated. It is an experience I will never forget. Go do it. The wall is amazing. I recommend taking a light for peeking in crevices and obviously watch your depth. It is so easy to get distracted when swimming with several sharks around you. After your dives, lounging at the mangrove covered beaches below Pedro's cabins is nice. The locals are friendly and there are nice beaches, food, and drinks readily available and almost everything in walking distance. See more..

-Incredible tour - great natural beauty and gracious people
Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Waterskiing & Jetskiing
Amazing tour leaving the beach next to Copamarina Resort and Playa Cana Gorda. Rafael was a great guide, making sure everyone was comfortable and safe driving the jet skis, and offering narration about stops along the tour: Cayo Aurora, cliffs near Guanica, the ruins of a sugar mill near Ensenada, and the reefs where bay meets sea. Kim was a very helpful and gracious host, making sure our reservations were clear and confirmed, then taking dozens of photos and video so we could just enjoy the ride. The website is very helpful but I would also call a day or two in advance to make sure the weather is conducive and the reservation is confirmed for the number of people in your party. See more..

- 5.0 Playa La Jungla (3 reviews)
-Amazing beach away from everything
Friday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Beaches
We rented a 4x4 jeep and glad we did as to get to this beach, you have to go off road. There is no straight road to get here. We know people that live in Guanica so they told us how to get here. Once you leave the main road, you are driving on roads that are all dirt with many deep holes. Do not drive it if the holes are filled with water and some are very deep and will mess any vehicle up. Once we got here after about a 5 -10 minute off road drive, we were in paradise. We had the entire beach to ourselves on a Friday. The water is extremely clear and was very calm when we went. It was the perfect day of relaxation. See more..

-GuanicAmazing Snorkeling
Scuba & Snorkelling
My friends and I took a day excursion to Copamarina Beach Resort in Guanica with the intention of paddling out in kayaks with snorkeling gear to Gilligan's Island but after meeting Luichi, our friendly snorkeling guide at the Scubadogs stand, we were easily swayed into the snorkeling tour instead of kayaking. Luichi and his colleague, (Nathan?) took us out by boat to the island/mangrove and to another reef a little further out. Luichi gave us a great, educational tour by pointing out and showing us various underwater life that we wouldn't have otherwise seen had we tried to do this on our own. We had a really great afternoon because of Luichi's genuine curiosity and passion for the sea, explorative spirit, and friendliness. If I were to come back, I would definitely stop here again for another enjoyable day exploring underwater. This is such a great location to visit. Thank you! See more..

- 4.5 Bosque Estatal de Guánica (208 reviews)
-Area full of surprises!
Spent More than 3 hours Nature & Wildlife Areas • Forests
The Guánica State Forest & Bioshpere Reserve (Bosque Estatal de Guánica, in Spanish) is an great example of a dry forest, as compared to the rain forests found elsewhere on the island. Covering almost 1,000 acres, it has been designated as a United Nations International Biosphere Reserve. The forest offers many well-maintained trails and is a bird-watcher’s paradise. See more..
- 4.5 Playa Tamarindo (18 reviews)
-cute beach off the beaten path
Beaches
This beach is at the end of Route 333. You'll see the road is blocked by a gate, where there is a small turnaround, and there are lots of cars are parked on the sides of the road before the gate. Once you park, walk beyond the gate, and it will be pretty obvious where to go from the sound of the waves. Most of the path is a boardwalk, which is really cute. See more..
- 4.5 Pino's Boat & Water Fun (14 reviews)
-BEST RIDE FOR A FIRST TIMER
Friday: 11:00 AM - 5:30 PM Gear Rentals
I went with my family but went alone on the jet ski. It was my first time and I had a BLAST alittle scary for the first time but I suggest you go with the guy that take you on the ride if you've never driven one. I had fun and I'd do it again well worth it! AND they keep eyes on you at all time to make sure you're okay! The instructor on my jet ski always asked me if I was okay! BEST JETSKI RIDE EVER See more..

- 4.0 Finca El Girasol (162 reviews)
-Beautiful Blooms
Friday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Gardens
We stopped in along the way to La Parguera from San Juan. My husband knows I love flowers, sunflowers, and taking pictures so this was a perfect spot along our way. It was only $2.50 for us to both walk around the fields (there were 4 long rows of sunflowers). It was amazing to see different varietals of sunflowers and sunflowers in different stages of bloom.
