The Seinajoki main library consists of two buildings (Apila and Aalto) and both are architecturally noteworthy. Aalto library was completed in 1965 and was designed by Alvar Aalto. The newer building Apila was opened in August of 2012. Apila is open every day of the year. Aalto library is closed on religious holidays and Sundays and also Saturdays during the summer. See more..

The Aalto Center in Seinäjoki is something so uniwue in Finland. It is really the place to visit. The Church with surroundings and the tower, Town Hall with dark blue walls, bew library and the City Theather. The theather has a restaurant with very tasty buffer lunch! See more..
