Decent museum in an otherwise low-brow town of Alajärvi. Exhibitions were alright and as a bonus entry was free of charge - as we both were museum employees. Good frappe in the café, too. See more..

The Art Centre Harri is a diverse exhibition house in the middle of a beautiful lake view. We arrange changing art exhibitions and fascinating collector's item exhibitions in summer season. In winter we are open by appointment. Exhibition season 2018 3.-26.5. South Ostrobothnian cartoonists 5.6.-29.7. Oil paintings by Finnish actress Tuija Piepponen 4.-31.8. Printmaking society of Seinäjoki 3.5.-31.8. Barbie-doll exhibition We also have permanent exhibitions: local painter Matti Annala's memorial exhibition, composer Toivo Kuula room, collection of 500 Arabia milk jugs and the tradition room of the Finnish war veterans.
