Stunning library
The Seinajoki main library consists of two buildings (Apila and Aalto) and both are architecturally noteworthy. Aalto library was completed in 1965 and was designed by Alvar Aalto. The newer building Apila was opened in August of 2012. Apila is open every day of the year. Aalto library is closed on religious holidays and Sundays and also Saturdays during the summer.

Something for everyone
A place to read newspapers and have a cup of coffee or lunch, or just sit and read in front of the large windows in a rocking chair and watch the town move by. Great reading nooks for adults, teens, and kids.
