-Perfect Day for Nature and Adrenaline
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Multi-day Tours • Canyoning & Rappelling Tours • Eco Tours • Hiking & Camping Tours
By far our favorite day in El Salvador. William was a very knowledgeable guide who took care of us but did not coddle us. We truly went off the beaten path. We felt very safe jumping off the waterfalls and walking through the jungle. Even the 4X4 ride was wild, but the driver was very aware of us in the back and careful. If you want an actual hike that’s not just a little stroll in the park and are into adrenaline and nature, the waterfall tour in El Imposible is a MUST. See more..

- 4.5 El Imposible National Park (55 reviews)
-Beautiful
Spent More than 3 hours National Parks
I visited here with a friend in a car. A lot of people come here by booking through mamas and papas hostel based in Tacuba, it's probably the only real way to get here without your own vehicle. We stayed at nearby hostel Hostal imposible, which is about a 10 minute walk from the park. It's $6 to get in and you need a guide to get around, generally its expected to tip $10 or more. You can camp in the park as well. We did the cerro el Leon walk. It's about 8km and took just under 3 hours. It's a very nice walk and the views from the top are fantastic. It was very very windy on top but totally worth it. If you visit El Salvador this is a place well worth visiting it. See more..
- 4.5 Iglesia Inmaculada Concepcion de Maria (47 reviews)
-Church in Ataco
Churches & Cathedrals
This is a large church located in Ataco, which is one of the towns that is part of the Ruta De Las Flores route. It’s free to enter and is attractive both internally and externally. Don’t expect anything grandeur given its located in a town of only 13000 people but it is a attraction that adds weight to the larger tour and the town of Ataco is possibly the prettiest in the route. -Great time!

The trip was amazing and we had so much fun! For family members and young kids that have never done a buggy tour before, this was perfect for them. Though, the best thing about this company is the staff! As we were parking the buggy’s back at their location, my 6 year old was stung by a big bee (maybe a wasp?) on his leg and he was SCREAMING. I wasn’t in the same buggy with him so I began to panic but I saw the staff run to him, work together to carry him out since it got his leg that was swelling. They worked together to clean him up and take out the stinger. They took such amazing care of him! I can’t thank them enough for taking quick action to make sure he was ok. They took good care of us from beginning to end. See more..
- 4.5 Cascadas De Don Juan (2 reviews)
-Cascada de Don Juan Jujutla, El Salvador
Spent < 1 hour Waterfalls
Located on the road to Ataco, this lovely waterfall park hosts a great falls and lovely flora. The butterflies were everywhere and the orchids and other tropical flowers were blooming. A short 5 to 8 minute hike to the falls, the park is safe and well maintained. We paid 3.00 to enter. There is restaurant open on the weekends and the pool at the bottom of the falls is suitable for swimming. The terrain is a bit slippery and rocky so wear sneakers or good water shoes and apply insect repellent as the tropical nature lends itself to mosquitos. Another fabulous waterfall in ES! See more..
- 4.0 Termales de Santa Teresa (30 reviews)
-Beautiful hot springs
Spent 2-3 hours Spas
Truly enjoyed our visit to San Teresa. Though we visited on a Saturday afternoon and stayed till late it was very quiet. We had almost all pools to ourselves. Enjoyed mud without paying the extra fee. Entrance is quite expensive ($10) though worthwhile visiting. Very green, friendly staff, many different pools and designs. You are allowed to bring your own food and drinks. See more..
- 4.0 Mirador de la Cruz del Cielito Lindo (26 reviews)
-Second Route of the “Train” led me to it!
Monuments & Statues
I rode the vehicle called by the locals as “Tren” or cart connected to a 4x4 vehicle. We went around the city and one Mirador or Overlook of Ataco. After the trip, we were asked if we wanted to see another Mirador. This second Mirador is this attraction. The road is narrow and very bumpy. At the Mirador, we were able to see the areas of Ataco. Per our driver, this attraction gets busy on May 3 when they have a celebration here. Locals walk from the downtown areas to this Mirador. We took lots of pictures here. Highly recommended to ride the “Tren” instead of driving your own vehicles. Road is very narrow and dusty, coffee plantations on both sides of the road. Our driver had to pay an entrance fee as we were leaving this attraction. See more..
- 4.0 Salto De Malacatiupan (10 reviews)
-Refreshing Thermal Waterfall
Spent 1-2 hours Waterfalls
This place is definitely a hidden gem near Rutas De Las Flores. There are a series of waterfalls with hot water that you can lie under for a hot shower! There are pools that you can sit in and there were also got and cold pools next to each other too. To get there you will need to catch a bus to Atiquizaya. We took a bus from Ahuachapan for $0.50, which was in a market area 5min walk down the road from where the 249 bus terminates, and then got a Tuk Tuk there from Atiquizaya for $5 (a little on the high side but it was getting late so we didnt have much time) and it was another 20min or so. You may have to wait a while afterwards, we got lucky and managed to get a lift back into town with a local. See more..

-The Best ATV Tour Ever
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 4WD, ATV & Off-Road Tours
Wow. I am beyond grateful for the customer service that was extended to me. I had to reschedule my tour and Carla accomodated me. We had so much fun riding through the streets of Apaneca. Since it's difficult to get an Uber back to San Salvador, we even received a ride back from one of the employees. We are beyond grateful and appreciative. I wish I could leave 20 stars See more..
