   Must visit especially in the autumn. One of the most beautiful views I have seen (from the bridge leading to the mill). According to information it is 150 year old mill used to grind corn. No hike necessary as the car stopped just by it. Very nice! See more..

   I agree with most of the reviews here, it is a beautiful trail that can be very enjoyable and a great experience for nature lovers, BUT you must check with the locals the snow levels! We hiked the trail June 15th 2021 and decided to do it without a guide after reading most of the online reviews and tips. Unfortunately this year the snows have not melted and some locals explained to us that we have to do the winter trail and not the summer trail. The winter trail is not marked and you kinda need to figure it out using a map, which is ok. And in fact, on our way we met people that tried to follow the marks of the summer trail but the path was blocked by snow and unpassable... Here are my remarks for the inter trail: 1. Must have good boots that are also waterproof since you'll be walking a lot in snow. 2. Must be a good climber since this trail is much more steep and dangerous 3. Use a local guide if you can because it is definitely not easy to find your way there since it is unmarked. Good luck! See more..

   It is surprisingly difficult to reach the waterfall from Valbona. First we needed to take a special car which goes through the gravel road (quite bumpy) and even crosses small river. Cost 300 lek per person. Then from there you must do a quite difficult hike which involves crossing some bridges which are just two wooden sticks. A lot of balance is needed. Furthermore, you must go up or go down some stones. I had the help of my friend and the tour guide and still it was quite stressful but I am glad I made it. The waterfall is cool but of course nothing special as it does not have strong water volume. Invest in good shoes. See more..

   Went on a hike to see Kukaj village, and ended up taking a trail that goes all the way up to Maja e Thate and back to Valbone - about a 4 hour hike. Not for beginners though! there are some steep ups and downs, and no water sources that I could find, so go prepared. Overall a decent experience, there is a fantastic view of the valley from the top. See more..

   The lake is ok, quite small but there are some photo opportunities. Would not recommend it for bathing though as the water is very "still", it does not move at all, I think it was full of leaves. You need good shoes and good balance to do these hikes in Valbona. Even though this one seems easy but going down is harder than going up. The path goes through the forest.    Il museo ha delle cose interessanti ma, purtroppo, l'ambiente non è abbastanza curato, anzi in alcuni punti l'umidità rischia di rovinare i reperti storici.
   Ci vorrebbe un po' più di investimenti per valorizzare maggiormente la storia locale e attirare qualche visitatore a tornare con altri amici...
   
   Il personale è molto disponibile e simpatico.
   La visita è stata piacevole e interessante.
