   As a part of a Danish group tour round Albania the travel agency has arranged a visit. One of the best stop during our tour. Very friendly and informative introduction to the place, the history and the production.    If you love old ruins that hint at a grand past, this is your place. We parked at the bottom of the hill and walked up. BIG mistake! Drive up and park in the beautiful new parking lot. It's still a couple of hundred yards to the entrance but nothing compared to the hike we took. On that walk, walk around the wooden bridge. It might not break down, but... Ask for the English brochure at the gate. It has the history and a map with an index. Be sure to go up on to the wall at the far west end for an amazing view of Lezhe and the Adriatic. See more..

   It worth it, spending a day in Patok. The views are wonderful. The little houses inside the lagoon are very nice. You can have dinner looking outside the window the lagoon and enjoy the good food. See more..

   Love this place, I go often and the wind of Shengjin doesn’t affect here, sand is thicker doesn’t stick as well as peaceful place to sunbathe and clear water. Restaurants around could do better though as we got in the car and went to Shengjin for lunch’s and come back again but it’s beautiful overall, especially Sueno. See more..

   So Shengjin was the best, but now it's letdown place for tourism. Water sea it was polluted with rubbish (plastic bags, algaes), also the sand was covered with smoked ciggaretes and seats were dirty. Infrastucure must be improved. The Shengjin's promenade was good for walking with your family, lot of restaurants which they make the best seafood and during the night there are live music to attend, buttt too muchhhh overcrowded. I liked Rafaello Hotel, the facility was great, and even the pools. So the rating goes with 2 or 3 stars. My conclusion for Shengjin : Shengjin's a letdown place for tourism, it's not worth the price. I reccommend you to go to Vlora (Himarë) instead, there are luxury beaches with beautiful sea.
