I completed the 3D2N hike from Sembalun to Torean. I can definitely recommend the Torean route since it is beautiful and passes a lot of diverse areas such as forests, rivers and there are constantly stunning views since you walk a trail over the slope of the mountain. Besides that, it is a quite doable route without extremely steep ascents or descents (after the summit). It is also safer than the route to Senaru because there is dangerous rockfall and landslides after heavy rainfall. The hike to the summit is really tough, but there are opportunities to enjoy the views from places a little lower which is just as beautiful or sometimes even better. Many thanks to our great guide Dedi! Dedi really wants the best and safest experience for you. He takes care of every person in the group and is a very responsible guide. Pristine beaches, islands, glorious sunsets and nature walk to the waterfalls…..Langkah Travel was super efficient and flexible to make these happen on 22-25 Jan for our group of 3. Ari was prompt in response and willing to make adjustments to suit our requests. Itinerary was interesting - covering islands, waterfalls, beaches and sunsets. Lunch and dinners were delicious.
