Only stayed at Kuta for 1 night, bug go Merese Hill for 2 times! Easy to get. Ride a motorbike if you're lazy. Need to pay 10,000 Rdp to park the motorbike. Then, only need a small effort to reach the top. Love the view from the hill.See more..

The remnants of devastating earthquake in Aug 2018 were seen in many places on the way to this mountain. Although, the 2.5 hours drive from Sengigi beach was worth it for seeing this Indonesia second highest Volcanic mountain. We met the many locals monkeys from the bottom of the mountain and at the viewing platform. They are friendly, not like the ones in Ubud Bali. You can only get to the destination by car or motorbike due to the size of the sealed road. See more..
