    Fort San Pedro
Fort San Pedro is military defence structure in Cebu and is in the area called Plaza Independencia, in the pier area of the city. The original fort was made of wood but early 1600s a stone fort was built to repel Muslim raiders. The Fort today dates from 1738 and is the oldest triangular in the Philippines. It has been restored and is open to the public and admission is charged ,It looks like it could use a clean!

    Worth a look
It is small but a significant historical location. The entrance fee of 30php is reasonable and there are enough signs in English to appreciate its history. We chose not to take a guide because we had researched it on the internet before attending and we found the signs just repeated what we had read.
