A walk in the park

I was in Cluj for business and when I’ve got a brake me and some friends we went for a walk on a Saturday morning. The first impression was that is a beautiful place and very clean. The park was breath a fresh air in a busy city.

Great park
A great park, quite quiet although in the middle of the city. One can also ride a bike through it, but the alleys are not great for skates & such. There is a small lake (Chios lake), and a restaurant on its shores (quite expensive, there are numerous others around the park). The Casino regularly hosts art exhibitions. Public transport and taxi is available at both ends of the park. Public restrooms are ok.

Pleasant walkthrough.
It was nice and pleasant to walk through. Nice atmosphere and pretty clean. Also we saw Cluj arena, it's a must see, at least from outside. In the park you can take a ride on the lake with hydrobycicle or admire the old Casino building.
